Mahle Motorsport Performance Pistons-The Mahle Diesel PowerPak is a complete race-proven piston assembly kit composed of hand deburred, forged, performance coated pistons, high-quality steel pins, round wire locks and low drag performance rings.

Performance coatings include a phosphate dry lubricant (not to be confused with a thermal film coating) that is used to protect against ring micro-welding and pin galling during initial startup and break-in. For additional performance, Mahle applies its proprietary Grafal anti-friction coating to each piston skirt.

•Performance-oriented combustion bowl with design features intended to reduce erosion issues caused by high pressure, long duration and advanced timing.

•Lower compression ratios (0.5 to 1.5 pts, or custom depending on application) allowing more flexibility for high output tuning.
