The S&B Tank comes with all the components to remove your 31-gallon tank and replace it with our 55-gallon tank. The tank mounts in the stock location using the included straps. The tank occupies the space forward of the OEM fuel tank. Even with more fuel on board, your fuel gauge will remain working. The gauge will stay on full for the first 7-10 gallons, but then continue to move as normal. The distance to empty however will still be calculated based on the stock fuel capacity. For example, @ 20mpg and a full tank (55 gallons), you will have an 1100 range but your distance to empty will show 620 (20 MPG * 31 gallons).
