XDP CRANKSHAFT DOWEL PIN KIT. Avoid catastrophic engine failure from a sheared dowel pin with the Crankshaft dowel pin kit from XDP. In both stock and performance builds, the crankshaft balancer is held in place with a dowel pin, these pins often shear causing the balancer to spin on the snout of the crank. This can result in a broken crankshaft.
The XDP Crankshaft balancer kit includes a specially made jig that enables you to drill the crank without doing an engine tear down. The kit also includes a drill bit allows for around 5 procedures to be performed before requiring a replacement. Each kit includes a jig, jig holding bolt, drill bit, pin, and installation instructions.
